Film dari Age of the Dragons (2011) bersinopsis Age of the Dragons merupakan adaptasi dari novel klasik Moby Dick karya Herman Melville. Bertempat di dunia abad pertengahan tempat Kapten Ahab dan krunya berburu naga untuk mendapatkan vitriol yang memberi kekuatan pada dunia mereka, Ismael, seorang harpooner karismatik dan temannya Queequeg bergabung dalam misi mereka. Putri angkat Ahab, Rachel, cantik dan tangguh, menjalankan kapal berburu. Obsesi Ahab untuk membalas dendam pada Naga Putih besar yang membantai keluarganya ketika dia masih muda dan meninggalkan tubuhnya terluka dan dianiaya, mendorong para kru semakin jauh ke dalam jantung kegelapan. Di sarang Naga Putih, rahasia Ahab terungkap dan Rachel harus memilih antara mengikutinya dalam pencarian gelapnya atau melarikan diri ke kehidupan baru bersama Ismael.
